We all are aware of many problems and challenges in MGNREGA implementation, one of the main issue is of non-payment or late payment of the wages & not getting work even they have given oral & written application to the Panchayat.
For this government has taken a step to connect MGNREGA with the Mobile phone service in which job card holders can file their application for work , complain of non-payment or late payment etc. by a SMS to 9212357123.
How it will help: By this District collector & Dist. Panchayat CEO will get information of no. of filled application &/or how many payments have not cleared on due date.
