Background
This case study is of Maa Sharda Mahila Mandal, Jamghat which has 11 members. I can say an SHG with a difference. This SHG has saved Rs 40000 with the initiative of 2 of our Cluster Coordinator Raja and Jaynarayan. Their representative’s names are Maya Rani and Sita Rani
Harit Prayas Impact:
They started their Mahila Mandal with a vision to do something different and hence they worked hard for that vision. They initially started with Rs 50 saving and than landed to Rs 200 saving. They got themselves 2nd Grading with ADO of Rehli block and has received Rs 75000 from the block office which has already being credited in their a/c.
Result
As a result of this they have planned to start a new business of purchasing food grains including (Soyabean, Wheat and Chana etc.) to store it and sell with appropriate price in the bigger market.
