Inauguration of 1st Farmers Club formed under HARIT PRAYAS by NABARD @JCSS Jhansi

Moving towards establishing strong linkages with KVK and NABARD and sustaining agriculture in the Bundelkhand region in concern with the same HARIT PRAYAS is able to create a sustainable remark in the region through not only formation, but establishing Farmers club in the all the 64 villages with an average 30-35% of female membership and linking them with NABARD and KVK.

Out of 64 farmers club till date 44 Farmers club been approved by NABARD and now the process of inauguration has been started. The first inauguration by NABARD (with all financial support) has been done in Jhansi Gautam Budh Farmers club- Patharui village (HARIT PRAYAS). NABARD provides INR 2000 to NGO for approval and 8000 to farmers club for theire activities a, inauguration and further on also provides technical support and other services from NABARD.

The linkages are well covered in leading news papers  in Bundelkhand region.

This all lead to establish sustainable institutions at village level .
